In kernel 6.12 CONFIG_AMD_IOMMU_V2 does not exist anymore.
Do you have emerged sys-firmware/sof-firmware ? (I ask because I dont see any loading of sof-firmware-files in your dmesg).
If no: Please do.
If yes: I am not an expert for pavucontrol. Until we get one, you can make these queries in the meantime: "aplay -L" and "aplay -l" Do you have a /etc/asound.conf?

I installed sof-firmware and rebooted, but still no sound. Let me see what dmesg says.
I do not, I was planning to use pipewire as it is the latest and greatest.

I'm an ID10T, my user was not part of the pipewire group. I re-checked the wiki and thought my configuration script had run, but I decided to check it again and it was not set. I had to log out and back in. |
